I was set on SS before 'reviews' came out, and then I contemplated downgrading to sport... but the sapphire screen was enough to hold me at the SS model even before seeing this video. AFTER seeing this video, it confirms which model I will be getting. SS

I was mostly concerned about bumping the watch as I turn a corner or something.

I thought the sport watch would have a chance of denting or scratching and the SS would be ok (maybe a buffable scratch and not a dent on the case), but this video does reassure me a bit about that use case.

If I'm not mistaken the iPhones use a version of the ion-x glass used on the Watch sport model which I believe is a form of gorilla glass.

The iPhone 6 has gorilla glass 3 and the watch will probably use 4.
