SATA II in a older G5?

I've been poking around google for about 30 minutes now and I still can't find an answer to this question:
Can I put a SATA II drive (Maxtor SATA II/300 160GB HD [L01E160] to be exact) in my Dual 1.8 G5 from June 2004?
In general is an SATA II drive able to work fine in a SATA I bus?

Got it sitting here and I don't want to open it until I can get a definite yes or no.
 
Well to answer my own question: Yes it is possible, bit the bullet and opened the package. Found out it has the jumper setting I've read about for the SATA-150 speeds.

Slapped it in and it is being formatted right now by my G5.
