Satechi X1 Slim Bluetooth keyboard + MacBook Pro in clamshell mode

I have my eye on this great looking keyboard to pair with my MacBook Pro that I use with an external monitor in clamshell mode. Ostensibly it seems perfect for the job, but I have read some anecdotal accounts of it not working properly when waking the Mac from sleep.

Anyone care to comment?

Mine is connected to my iPhone and Mac mini. I used to switch back and forth without any big hassle.
