Save contacts to Gmail with iTunes 11

How to save iphone contacts to gmail with iTunes 11 under OSX 10.7.1 ?
There is no option in Iphone > Info > Sync Contacts

I sync mine over iCloud so there isn't an available option there either for me. Are you syncing via iCloud?

In OS X, go to System Preferences then go to Mail, Contacts & Calendars and review your settings there.
