I just went to save something in photoshop CS3 using the save for web feature and its locked up, well at least that window has... The funnything is i used to get the exact problem with CS2 😡

Anyone else come across this?

I get something similar -- mine locks up for about 30 seconds and then resumes. I had this with CS2 as well. Haven't found a solution to it yet, and because is so intermittent it's hard to narrow down the cause.

never had any problem with it, in either CS2 or CS3.. strange.

Could it be your file size? On high-res images, it takes a while for the Save for Web preview to optimize the file. Next time it locks up on you, take note of your file size. If it's big, reduce it in Photoshop to something ridiculously small, then try again. If it doesn't lock up, problem solved!

update,

it almost was like the window was inactive, i had a movie playing in QT underneath and even though the save for web window was active when i hit enter it would pause the movie.

i waited and waited for it to go away eventually i just used expose to zoom out then back into a diff app, then out then back into PS and it started to work again..
