iPod touch save pics from the internet?

I just got my touch for free from the apple promo and am trying to figure this all out. Is there anyway to save images I see from the Internet to my photos on here?

In early July (possibly July 11th) the v2.0 software update is coming for both iPhone and iPod touch. To iPod touch users it's going to be just $9.95.
This software update adds the functionality to press, hold and save an image from both mail.app and Safari.app on iPod touch. 😎

Just wait a few more weeks ... and you'll be able to do this.
