I've used Picmonkey to edit images - but it has a limit on the size of the image that can be saved.

Most of the images are around 3 MB maximum.

But I need to print these images in high quality and in a large size (at least double A4 size), so I'm afraid that 3 MB is not large enough.

1) Can I somehow "enhance and enlarge" my 3 MB image, so the file size and image quality is improved and good enough to print?

Is there a programme that can do this (for instance Photoshop) - or is 3 MB actually enough to print high quality pictures in a large size?

2) Are there photo editing programmes - similar to Picmonkey - which do not have a limit on the file size that can be saved?

Thank you for any help! :)

All the programs I mentioned to you in your other post will save your files in their actual size. They do not limit them.

Yes you can increase you photo size in PS, PS Elements and Pixelmator. You can also purchase programs and plugins that will assist you with doing it. Examples, Alien Skin Blowup or Perfect Resize.

They work okay on a minimal size increase, but not when you have to double in size. Increasing the size of a photo will always cost you some quality.

You are always better to take as large a photo possible and decrease it in size.
