Hey,

I just had a few questions and i was wondering if you guys can point me in the right direction?

Firstly, im making a new App, but i would like the user to input information, say they right a note or something, in a view, I wanted to know what do i use to save that information when the user exits the App and have it still there when it is next opened or until the user deletes it??

and secondly, when the keypad pops up on screen, how can i get it to leave? I have it popping up in a View, but when i am done writing the "Done" button just never shows up?

Any ideas?

Thanks..

It explains how to save a file (eg. .txt file) to the documentsDirectory that apps have. This is the permanent storage space as appose to the tmp folder.

There's a chapter in the book Beginning iPhone 3 Development that I've got that is all about data persistence also.

Basically just look into the documentsDirectory and data persistence.
