Saving app window size/position on Monterey

There is a small yet annoying to me bug on Monterey beta. For the Home and Find My apps, I am unable to save the app window size/position. In other words, when I restart these apps, they always default to the original size/position. All other apps' windows remember their size and position between launches. Does anyone know if there is a way around this?
