Hi I'm going to restore my iPhone and have an appointment at genius bar. I always have trouble with backing up my contacts. In the past I have lost contacts that I manually put in my contacts.

What is the easiest way to save my contacts before I restore?

Also saving my bookmarks?

I have a Mac.

huh? if you have a Mac then your Contacts are stored on your Mac. Bookmarks the same.

If you can just go to each App on your Mac and click - file - Export - save to where you want to save them. In Address book - File - Export - Address Book Archive.

Save them to a disc or MobileMe.

What about contacts? Last time I restored my phone I lost contacts that I manually put in. I have google contacts account but the contacts that I manually put in didn't show up in my google contacts account.
