Hi,

I'm in the process of setting up an ebay store and the software I'm using to upload all of my images and listings needs my pictures in JPG format. My problem is that I've been saving the images from both my products websites and Google images and I've been creating the listing info for each product in word documents but all the images in the docs are in picture clipping format. How do I change them to JPG?

I did and they are saved on the desktop as picture clippings. If I was to save the image again from Google images, what would I do to save it as a jpg image? When I click 'save as' I can only choose location for it to save to.

Sorry if this is a really retarded question.

Generally you can just drag the picture from your browser to the desktop and it will save in whatever format the original is in. If it's a png you could convert it to jpg by going to File -> Save As... and then selecting "jpg" from the dropdown menu.

If you can open those saved "clipping" in Preview you can save them as .jpgs I suppose.

What file format does the right click > save as option save to?

When I click 'save as' on any image in google images I can only click a destination and no format. I'm probably missing something that's really simple and retarded.

Click the little triangle next to where you would put the name of the file.

and uncheck "Hide extension" to see what file format it uses.

And again, what file format are those images in Google Image Search you wanna save?

Have you tried the Preview road?

This will probably piss u off even more but when i click the triangle it just minimises the save as screen.
