I always enjoy Steve's keynotes, the 12" Pb is gr8 and I have one on order, I've been watching the it over and over.

Does anyone know how I can save the stream (or any others) as a .mov or similar file.

I'm running OS 10.2.3 on a 550 mhz PB with quicktime pro 6.1

Really would appreciate any suggestions.

Cheers...

well this may take a little investigating work on your side but this may get you started, under OS9 this was very simple, un der X it may be a little more difficult. first off you need to open Quicktime pro and goto preferences/ Quicktime pref then go to "Plug-In" and make sure "Enable kiosk mode" is NOT checked, then when you view the QT movie or stream look at the bottom right corner and you should see a small triangle, when you click on it you will see the options to save as source or as QT Movie, if this triangle is missing, this movie or stream is on the Mac's cache and you will need to look for this file, under OS 9 it was found in the cache folder inside the Browser's preference folder inside the Preference folder in the System Folder, good luck ;)
