I want to save some lecture videos because I'm going on a trip and I won't have internet access. I've seen several solutions and none have worked for me. The problem probably stems from the fact that because it's through a school, there is some kind of security getting in the way. Anyway, any ideas for saving .rm files for viewing off the web? Mplayer and vlc haven't worked. Neither has cocoajt. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Help!

There's a nice download manager called HiDownload. I used it often to download realmedia streams. Unfortunately, it's windows only. If you dual boot or have parallels, give it a go.

HiDownload seemed so promising... didn't work though... any other ideas?

only free method i ever used is on windows. I think its URLsnooper, which detect the data package streamed to the computer and detect the source. same mechanism should be able to work under mac too, not sure if there is any tho.
