iPhone Saving Space on iPhone

Hey guys,

I've recently got the message that my phone is full and I'm trying to save space but by keeping my most important things on my iPhone (16GB). I have tons of photos but they're on a Shared Photo Stream and I'm wondering if those photos take up local storage on the device if they're not downloaded on the phone.

Maybe I can upload them to a photo sharing site like Flikr and save myself some space. Any other tips?

Either look in Settings/ General/ Usage
Or
Plug it up to iTunes to see where all you memory is being used.

While plugged to iTunes note how much is taken up by "other" as it can sometimes be a problem
