i don’t think I can pull off a white ceramic edition so looking at either the space black or gray ceramic. After looking at some pics of the gray ceramic, it seems like it might be hard to pair with certain bands but not sure I want something as dark as black. I almost wish the gray ceramic was a bit darker. Anyone who have had or seen both care to comment on preference? Is the space black really dark? Just trying to make sure I get the right one and haven’t been able to see in person yet. Thanks!

I have it and yes it won't pair as with many bands but it looks very nice. There is a grey leather loop and a few other bands that will look great with it.

I think the ceramic grey will go with any band the black stainless steel one would. Then again, I don’t think the black actually goes with a vast array bands in the first place.

Since the screen is black the black bands look fine. I tried on the black mesh today and it worked thanks to the face. Any black or grey bands look fine.

The space black is much darker. Space gray, it's more of a muted tone of black. But I prefer the space gray ceramic over the white ceramic.

Thanks for all the responses so far. Anybody have any pics showing the space black and the gray ceramic?

I owned the White Ceramic S2 and purchased both the S3 Grey Ceramic and the Hermes Deployment Buckle. Sent the Grey Ceramic back as the color wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it does blend in a little more than the White Ceramic. After using all 3 this weekend I prefer the Hermes, White Ceramic and then the Grey Ceramic.

I was in the same Boat. Upgrading from a series 0 SS watch, didn’t want to to get a sport and also considering the edition as a step up.

I went in the store and i wasn't too impressed with it overall. It is nice of course but IMO it is tough to distinguish from the sport models as the sport band is the only really band that works with the editions. The white one is a little better but the stainless steel lugs on most of the bands clashes with the ceramic colors. Not too bash it or anything, but it reminded me more of iPod style plastic (that probably wont scratch like plastic though).

I probably will be going with my default choice of space black SS with the link bracelet. Comparing in the store the SS was totally more visually appealing to my eyes. I’ve been wanting one since they came out AFTER I had preordered a launch day S0 bright stainless.

Thanks for the video and Instagram posts. Good to see some side by side pics. Still not sure. I’ve got a SBSS series 3 now and just debating if it’s worth jumping on a gray ceramic if I find one. I think the SBSS is really sleek and blends with the screen so it’s like one piece. It also reflects really nice in the light. I think the gray ceramic is just more neutral and like gray generally better. I do see why some think it doesn’t differentiate much from space gray aluminum. Stupid problems to have, I know...just don’t want to regret my choice after the return window.

There is a little gap between where screen and the watch case meet on All edition model, I’m not sure why. Which was why I thought the SBSS is much better looking!
