scaled display and starting up glitch

Has anyone else noticed this since Yosemite?

I use my display on 'looks like 1680 x 1050', so one higher than best (retina).

But whenever I restart my computer and the desktop appears, for a second I see a glitch with the desktop being stretched out.

I'm on a rmbp iris pro only late 2013.

I can confirm this issue. Using the base model Retina 15", 2013 with iris pro.

Use 1920x1200, minor bug when logging in. Did a fresh install, still present.

Also tends to move and resize any apps set to launch on login (such as mail).
