I just bought a 16 in MacBook Pro M2 Pro. This MacBook Pro supports 8k from the HDMI port. I hooked up my 55" Samsung 8k TV to it and I was able to output 8K to the TV. However, at the native 8k resolution, the text and UI is too small for my liking.
I also use this TV on Windows and I run it at 150% scaling. Is there a way to do this on the MacBook Pro?
In the display settings, I only have the options to run it at 7680 x 4320 which is too small like I mentioned and at 3840 x 2160 which is too big. I would like to get it to look like it was at 5120 x 2880. I tried creating a custom resolution in Switchresx, but I could not get it to work.
