Hi Folks, I'm looking for a resolution between the MBP 16" default 1728 x 1117 (too large) and the more space setting 2056 x 1329 (too small). I like the scaling factor on the 15" MBA, where everything is a little smaller than on the pros.
However I've tried various 14:9 resolutions using scaling factors such as 1.75 or 1.77 but everything has resulted in extremely blurry rendering. I know it's possible to do this because I ran 1662 x 1038 on my 14" MBP and it was perfectly sharp, similar to the scaling factor used by the MBA and intel MBPs on those 224ppi screens - which don't use perfect 2x integer scaling. Can anyone recommend a resolution that will render crisply? I would be very grateful for some help.
