Hi Guys,

I have a question there is an option in the Notes app which is scan text. So the moment you tap on it and with the back camera pointing any text. It captures it and prints it on the Notes app, my issue is it is a hit and miss for me. Sometimes it captures everything and sometimes it does not, are there any pointers or things that I can keep in mind so that it works all the time and capture all the text it is looking at?

I suggest you have the shutter set to manual (top right I think)
Make sure your phone is square to the thing you want to scan and when it's ready you will see the bit it wants to capture will change colour to yellow.
Move the phone backwards and forwards until the yellow bit is covering exactly what you want and then press the shutter.
The auto shutter IS hit an miss but if you do it manually it's much better

I also recommend the free version of Genius scan. You can scan a document from inside the app and it allows you way more control over the output if you want to share it-.pdf .jpg etc and and file size.
I'm always really scared of apps that share data and sometimes things you scan are sensitive but unless told otherwise, it's all kept on the phone
