For many years I have used the Canon Pixma PM540 only as a scanner but it now won't scan ... Because there is something with the print part Error B200. Of course that is not correct from Canon, you can't scan with an all-in if the printer stops working.
So I have to look for a new one.
Will this one work?
I don't want to spend too much money either.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

I have bought the scanner and it works with Sonoma on my Mac Studio
No drivers needed, a connection with the Mac via USB-C and I have the software downloaded and installed from the Canon Website

Hi Mac, can you confirm that your LIDE 400 works well on Sonoma? What software did you install, if it's not drivers?
I'm looking for a scanner but from what I read Canon dropped support for recent Macs.

It works with Airprint. An USB cable with USB-A on the Mac and USB-C on the scanner. You need a USB-A connection on your Mac or a cable converter. No drivers needed
I use it with Sonoma.
