Scanner not found...

hi... i have a HP photosmart c4280 connected to my time capsule and have no problem printing. However, if i hit the scan button it says "no USB connected" and if i go to the HP Scan Pro on the computer it says " Sorry, scanner could not be initializer. Scanner can not be found". Any HELP?????
 
Wireless scanning is not supported on any AirPort device to my knowledge, only with a direct connection over USB.

There was a post on Macrumors from 2006 but I do not think there is a fix or workaround to allow that capability.
