I have to scan some yearbook photos and am having difficulty with moire' and other interference. Normally, I would select De-screen in the scanner software, but neither my Canon all in one nor my HP Officejet have this option.

iPhoto can't fix this and I don't have Photoshop. Do the inexpensive Epson scanners still have de-screening capabilities?

Generally, Yearbooks are copyrighted material owned by folks who can enforce and may have registered the publication. Make sure your usage is covered by the fair use provisions of the Copyright Act.
