just wondering if anyone had used canon scanners with OS X?
i'm looking at several models-- 8000f, 3200f, 8400f, 8000f. just need something for the occasional good-quality scan, maybe a negative or slide every now and then.
they all sound good. just curious what experiences mac people had had with them... i'm running 10.1.5 (with intentions to upgrade as soon as time/funds allow) with classic 9.2.2 underneath.
thanks for any and all input--

p.s. in case it matters, the reason i'm specifically looking at canon is b/c i have a wonderful canon printer and i'd like to stick with them, if that makes any sense...

I just got me a HP Photosmart 2613 for my iMac and i love it.

I love the all-in-one stuff its all there in one box. You can get it at amazon for $300 this comes with a fax, if you dont need a fax then. Like this:

I would stick with either a canon or an HP, i never trust epson they always seem to have something wrong with them. I have always thought that an all-in-one is much better price wise and space wise then get a printer, scanner and a fax.

Canon all the way, IMO. But I would like to have one which works with Image capture... Does anyone have one? Can anyone review the quality of the scanning with Image Capture? Post pics, pls. !
