Up until around six months ago I had to take regular scheduled doses of a medication. As I recall I set it up on my iPhone and could then proactively log when I took the doses on either the phone or my Apple Watch. I stopped taking the medication and so archived it, but recently I've started taking a different medication on a schedule. I set it up the same was as before and can log the scheduled doses on my iPhone, but when I go into medications on my Watch the medication shows up but not the scheduled doses (the Watch always reporting All Medications Logged Today). As such it seems to treat it as an as needed medication when I attempt to log taking it so I can't log that I've taken a specific dose on the Watch. I've tried deleting and re-adding the medication and it hasn't changed how the Watch treats it. I get the reminders on the Watch just as I do on the phone, and when they come through I can use the reminder on the Watch to log that I’ve taken that dose, but I can’t use the Watch to proactively log that I’ve taken it (e.g. I take it slightly early and want to log that I have done so). Am I misremembering how this worked or has the functionality changed with a subsequent WatchOS release?

Thank you, Alec

I never used this but here is the Apple support document. your not saying with OS versions you are using ...

I apologize that this doesn't offer help in fixing the medication app for you, but I replaced Apple's app with one called Medisafe and find it to work more reliably.

26.6.1 on my iPhone, 26.6 on my Watch, both are latest at this time as far as I'm aware.

Thanks for the link. My issue is that in the section Log your medications in step 2 it says Tap the current medications schedule and on my watch there is no medication schedule, the watch says All Medications Logged Today and the medication I'm taking on a schedule is just shown as an as required medication.
