Scheduled Shut Downs

Does anybody know how to change the amount of time dedicated to a scheduled shut down or restart? With a scheduled shut down, the computer warns the user that the machine will turn off in 10 minutes. I'd like to change this amount to one minute. Any ideas where I can do this?
