frigidness in women can be a very serious problem. be it psychological or physiological, something goes wrong and women are unable to enjoy orgasm. as i said before, this could have theraputic application for some women.

That was his hope, although a female psychologist was disagreeing with him. Her feeling was that sexual disfunction in women was more psychological. And that this wouldn't be a solution to the emotional problems that were causing the problem in the first place.


But I am certain that some woman somewhere out there would be interested in this device...

And here is something to consider, if they could have a male version the porn industry would be destroyed. :D What would laid off porn actresses do in non-election years? ;)

There's much debate on this, I'm not denying that there is a phychological component to sexuality or sexual dysfunction but sometimes its all in the hips so to speak. Just because you love someone with all your heart doesn't automatically mean that the sex is going to be great, unless you're really really lucky, chances aren't you're not going to be born a good lover, its something that you have to learn over time. A lot of the time sexual dysfunction in women comes from the way they have sex, in the old-fashioned missionary, this clitoris isn't in contact with much anything that could be stimulating it so the woman is only getting part of the stimulation that she could have. Foreplay is another issue, most people seem to think that intercourse = sex and that's not true at all, what some people call foreplay I call another spoke on the wheel of sexuality, there's no reason why forms of sex that don't involve penetration have to be looked down upon as lesser forms, there's a whole world out there that you're missing if you don't realise it exists......

<sigh> So either got my point and you refused to acknowledge it, or felt attacked and responded using double negatives in a sarcastic statement. So I retract my sarcastic assertion and ask why do you feel that this puts "society, decency, and civilization step back a hundred years? How does this device manage to cause such harmful social repercussions in your view?

If you don't like sarcasm I can understand that, but if you can't come up with any reasons to convince me why your previous statement is valid I wonder why you even posted it at all. :confused:

I happen to like the use of colors by vinow. It puts a little spice in the forum. Very appropriate for a female. ;)

on a more serious note ... as mentioned earlier -- aren't these problems related more so emotionally then physically?

I saw the word "frigidness" used -- i've always seen this in women that i haven't made comfortable yet ... and thats usually a problem thats resolved outside the bedroom ... i've always figured ... if a women doesn't feel good with me before sex, why would she feel good with me during

macman, if due to "religious" reasons masturbation is a no, why would implanting a chip under your skin to give you orgasms be ok then? :confused:

Sorry you'll have to forgive him, we guys usually only see in 16 colours modified only by the terms light (i.e light blue) and/or adding 'y' when certain colours are combined (i.e. greeny blue). The only exception is if it's a factory car colour... that's different. ;)

I thought nature already produced this..
it's called a 5.5 carat (D/IF/EX) round diamond worth approximately $234,000 on the open market. That might even produce orgasms in me.

Interesting that he is focussing on using it as a therapy (orgasm as a problem, not an enjoyable part of life).

If the problem is a psychological phenomena - then he's looking for women who at some deep unconscious level don't allow themselves to have an orgasm, so surely they wouldn't volunteer to have one!?

Of course, it would depend on what is preventing an orgasm. Come to think of it, he may be getting volunteers who have no psychological reasons (whereas the majority of cases may indeed be psychological).

One thing is for sure - if a woman has never had an orgasm and if this device can bypass that and give her one, it will have some effect psychologically. I have no idea what. (If she enjoyed the orgasm I would guess that it would be a positive part of any therapy)
