Actually the above posted harddrive will NOT fit. notice that under the specs it says the height is 12.5 mm

A macbook will only take a 9.5mm harddrive (only the 17"mbp can take a 12.5mm)

Please re-check your sources that have led you to make this statement.

The 12.5mm height will work on all unibody MacBooks aluminum and white. The models 5,1 aluminum, 6,1 and 7,1 are the current listings of this type. The HDD mentioned above will fit in a new unibody MacBook model 7,1.
 
You may be right. But could you then clarify something?
So then is the polycarbonate macbook is different than the unibody poycarbonate?

Because I know the nonunibody can't support a 12mm
 
On the poly (original/older) style, the battery was attached from the outside and become part of the exterior of the MacBook.

On the unibody (aluminum and poly) there is an internal compartment that houses the battery within. This larger compartment which also holds the hard drive is tall enough to accommodate the 12.5mm profile.
