Hi,
Since day one, my 11" MBA was marked by
the 'lower line' of the (open) unibody located
between the space bar and the trackpad.
This 'lower line' has caused a horizontal line
on the the screen as if it was scraped off.
I went to one of the largest retailers in the
country. I talked to them about the problem
and they mentioned that, that kind of issue
was under Apple's quality program.
I took my 11" MBA to their technician and
they told me to comeback some two to three
days later. A day later the technician sent
an e-mail saying he was sorry, but the only
MBAs getting a screen change are the retina
ones. He was very nice and suggested me to
call Apple.
So here I am, ready to call Apple tomorrow
in the morning. Hopefully they give green
light to do the change.
