Scratch disk/multiple processor usage?

Hi all.

Does Cinema 4D use scratch disk like Photoshop and is there any way to utilise a 2nd mac on the network for its processor?

I think I have read that a 2nd processor/mac can be used but I may be wrong.

All input as usual much appreciated.🙂
