Hi folks,

I've just noticed a scratch on my iPad 4 display. Is there anything Apple will do if I go to the Genius Bar?

I also have some a major cellular connectivity issue that prevent me to use cellular data even after multiple complete restore.

And btw, using iOS 7 beta 2 here.

Thanks guys!

No, the Genius Bar can't help with damage from accidents, and a scratch has nothing to do with any functionality. Also, iOS 7 isn't supported yet, as it's still in beta.

Yep I know for iOS 7, but would it be possible to have it repaired for a fee?

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. I mean, can they switch my unit with a refurb one?
No, they're not going to replace your damaged unit unless you pay for a new one. The warranty doesn't cover damage from accidents.

And do you have an idea about how much it can cost? Do I have some kind of discount or do I have to buy one full price?

Click the link in my last post to check out refurb prices. You don't get a discount because your iPad was damaged. Apple makes no provisions for replacing or repairing damaged Macs or iPads at any discounted rate.
