So I have a scratch on my series 6 that is only visible under sunlight but not indoors, I can’t feel it with my nail either what could this be?

the oleophobic coating likely, it wears off over time ...
I had a scratch on my AW4 that I could feel with my nail, that was in the glass (sapphire), but only visible at certain angles ... don't look for it, enjoy your watch

Same I have one that I can feel with nail but only see certain angles.
Guess it’s the coating.
Regular scratches are visible at any angle.

if you can feel it, it's most likely in the glass, not the coating ... as I said in my post, the scratch I had was in the sapphire but only visible at certain angle, still a real scratch
what model? how old?

iPhone here. I just reread your post. You did say yours was in the glass.

I guess I figured couldn’t be in the glass and had to be in just the coating if you could only see it at angles
