It's not April Fools. How on earth can you see dust under the touch id ring? A microscope? Wow....

On a black iPhone, you can see dust between the black ring and the black button? Btw, the ring is only opened on the outside of the button, not the inside. You can feel this by rubbing your nail across the surface. So no, there cannot be dust between the button and the ring. If there is, you can rub it off as the surface is one.

So outside of the button? Your originally post says between the ring and the button. Please post a picture, because it makes no sense.

I smell troll. Multiple requests for pics and none of them acknowledged, let alone producing pictures.

I don't get why I am being accused for trolling, why would anyone create a thread like this just to troll. To me it feels like @timbooya and @Thor_1 are the trolls, if you don't have anything useful to say on this thread then don't say it.

The issue is, your story changed and you didn't post any pictures. You said between ring and button which is not physically possible and then you changed it to between ring and screen. When people make claims that aren't possible its natural for someone to call them a troll, even if it is not polite. Just like there is another thread about someone seeking dust under the home button which is 100% impossible.

With that being said, I believe your story after you changed it from between button and ring to between ring and glass. That makes more sense as the ring is 'open' on the outside.

You obviously don't know what a troll is. Yes, people would start a thread for the shock factor.

I simply asked for a picture. How is that trolling?

What you were saying didn't make sense. A picture is worth a 1000 words and a picture would have helped as your words made no sense.

Then you may have scraped the home button. Which the home button is sapphire and if scraped, is permanent.

    I'll have to agree.
It only takes a second to post a pic but every reply asking why there's no pic to this thread is being ignored by the OP.
    The usual mac rumors complainer:D
