In the settings we can change the screen awake time from 15s to 70s. The setting says these options are for “when you TAP the screen”.

If I change the setting to 70s the screen stays awake for that time limit even when I use the “raise to wake” way to turn it on.

Is that the way it supposed to be or am I just reading the settings wrong? I like the raise to wake feature to stay at 15s but the tap feature to be at 70s.

They are the same. Tap to wake is the standard and raise to wake is just an option of the same feature.

Also just to add the 70 second option was added in wOS 2 as a request by the medical profession for measuring a patient's HR.

Yea. I use it for timing things related to my profession. I just didn’t remember it staying on all the time.
