I have a imac i believe and i'm running snow leopard. I can play Call Of Duty 4 for about 20min(campaign or multiplayer)but then the screen suddenly goes black but i can hear the game playing in the background. Anybody know what might be wrong? Any fixes?:(

Thanks:cool:

Does it still happen if you reduce the graphics settings from within the game?

I'm not sure what model it is but i believe we bought it in 2007.

I'll try turning the graphics down in the game and see what it will do.

Is there a way to turn the graphics down on the whole computer? If so do you think it would help?

Well the graphics are set on the lowest setting(on the game)and it still blacks out.

Is there a better or bigger video card that would handle the game on the highest setting? If there is what would likely be the cost?

Do you guys think its the video card?
