Screen Blotches

I have had my Macbook for about 2 years now and I am noticing the there is some discoloring with my screen. I don't notice it head on, but when look from either side I see these discolored blotches. What is it and what can I do about it?
 
I dont personally know what it is but I just googled it and a ton of stuff came up. Might be worth a look
