I just bought a new 8gb iPod Touch today and compared to one I got in July, the screen looks darker at the same setting. Should I have mine checked out or are the new screens darker? I thought nothing was changed in the 8gb iPod.

All that really matters is that when turned all the way up, it's way too bright, to the point where it hurts to look at it, so therefore there shouldn't be a problem finding you're desired setting.

Well actually some things change over time...

I had my Touch 6 months before my brother and on the same app (Bebot) his screen is much more yellow than mine, which is more blue.

They can change LCD panels, flash memory chips and stuff like that anytime... as long as they don't change the processor...

It could be due to different iPod touch batches. The screen colour gradient has varied from models alike.
