Screen brightness – MacBook Air 2020 vs MacBook Pro 2014 15"

So I'm looking to upgrade from a MacBook Pro 15" from 2014.

The 2020 Air seem to be upwards 400 nits, whereas the 2014 Pro is around 320 nits. Curious if anyone have first hand experience in screen brightness between these two? Will I notice a difference?

I don’t have 15”, but compared to rMBP 13” 2014, the Air 2020 is brighter.

It looks barely noticeable. But 2020 has a bit darker black dan more vivid color if you watch movies.
