I'm in a bad situation: I've promised someone screen captures from a DVD and it looks like I won't be able to get them. My problem is that my computer with a DVD drive is running 10.3.2, so I can't use my faithful SnapNDrag. At first I though "Oh well, back to using to good old cmd+shift+4," but it doesn't seem to work if a DVD is playing! All the apps I can find are either 10.3.9 or higher, or they also don't work if a DVD is playing. I really could use your help here.

Also, the DVD drive computer isn't connected to the internet.

A quick workaround could be to use Handbrake, convert the DVD movie to another format and then use the screen shot feature when you open the movie in Quicktime or iTunes.

I really hoped it woundn't come to that, but thanks anyway. I might end up doing that, although it's a hassel to do it ever time I want a screen cap from a different movie.
