    :apple: + SHIFT + 3 = Full screen
    :apple: + SHIFT + 4 = selection
:apple: + SHIFT + 4 then SPACE BAR = Window

Open Finder, click Applications>Utilities>Grab. Open it. On the Menu Bar, click Capture. Selection will let you select a portion or the screen to capture. Window will select a specific window you have opened. Screen will capture the whole screen and Timed Screen will capture the whole screen after 10 seconds.

I'm really not sure why Grab exists/is still around. It's a lot more work than command+shift+3/4.

I agree. I really don't use the screen capture thing unless I need to show someone something here. I mostly se ScreenFlow and iShowU because I mainly need video.
