I repaired my power button that was sunken in, and now it works perfectly. However, my screen does not work perfectly anymore. It's all inverted in colors and does some odd things when it's running. The touch aspect of the screen works fine.

Did you test the screen before install? You may have received a defective screen. There also could be an issue with the LCD flex cable or connection point. sometimes when the connector is not aligned perfectly, it can cause various distorted images on the display such odd colors, pixelation, etc. If the LCD flex cable connector is matched perfectly with the motherboard, you may have damaged the LCD flex cable during the installation. The flex cables are extremely fragile, and they can get damaged very easily.

The screen does work, and had worked for almost 2 years. I'm thinking it could be a flex cable, because I was a little rough on it when I was removing the power button now that I think about it. So if it is ruined, all I have to do is buy a new screen?

If you were a bit rough with the cable, then I can almost guarantee that's what the issue is. A new screen will solve your problem for you. Just remember to treat the new one nice and delicate :)

Isn't that the accessibility option which inverts colors? Maybe you pressed 3 times consequentially the home button and it's been activated... look into the settings in the accessibility menu
