Look how amazing the iPod touches screen looks compared to the iPhone 4!
It's so bright and awesome, it's evident.
 
haha, that video perfectly demonstrates the absolute lack of black color on the new iPod's screen🙄
 
It is indeed terrible, but I wouldn't call it defective. It's just a nature of poor TN type of LCD technology being used in the new touch. Same black levels were in the previous touches.
