So what are the rules for when an iPhone dims/switches off the screen.
I've seen a number of behaviors on my phone.
1. When playing the ipod but no power connected the screen will switch off after a period of time.
2. When playing the ipod but power IS connected the screen will dim
- However the screen also seems to switch off if the iPod finishes playing.
Are there any times when the screen doesn't/Shouldn't dim/switch off? I'm not sure but I think there's been a couple of times when I've looked at my iPhone when its playing the iPod and connected to the power and it hasn't dimmed at all. But I could be wrong.
