Hi,
I discovered last week that my mbp screen was discolored when it was backlit on a black background. The actual pixels are fine, it seems to be right under the glass. What could have happened ? I use it only indoors since it's it hooked up to my ACD 24" and I didn't spill any liquid on it.

Do you think I'll be able to get it repaired easily under applecare or is it one of those 1 000 000 exceptions ?

Thanks

Also, let them know you see it when watching movies. It would show up when ever there is fadeouts in the show

Looks like LCD bruising. Its caused by pressure being applied to the lcd.

I have a similar spot on my MBP and Apple is being kind enough to replace it.
