Hello everyone

I own a iPhone 6 Plus, and I noticed there is kinda a lip at the bottom of the phone, where the glass and the metal casing meet. But the top is flush. Is this normal?

I have a 6+ and do not feel a "lip" or any protrusions along the edges of the phone. Only thing that sticks out is the hideous camera module...

I had an iPhone 6 plus replaced due to this very issue, I thought it was the adhesive on the screen came loose. Took it to a genius bar and they found out it was actually the phone casing had bent slightly!

Replaced at no cost to myself.

which apple store did you bring it to?

What did you tell them?

was the genius in a good mood and gave a one time exception?

Or was it a covered under warranty defect

wow just called apple about this and since i got this replacement iphone almost a month ago, they think i caused it

WOW shocking and it would cost $329 to replace since they claim this is accidental damage, im like i got it like this, and the advisor said do you want to set up a repair, im like no way!

and my iphone 5s power button problem they said i need to show proof of purchase???? even though it was under warranty. i bought this phone used, and had never needed to do something like this. then the person was like oh yeah just use the serial number, and she had me scroll through my whole email, just to find the exact date of when i got my replacement phone. LOL

I'm not impressed with apples standards now, not the first time. but like the 10th replacement in total for all the phones

It's very noticeable when you run your finger around where the glass the the casing meet, could this have happened when the phone was in transit, I say transit because this replacement phone came in the mail.

iPhone 6 Plus users: is your screen not even to all the edges?

Thanks in Advance

Mine's completely even.

It seems like all your Apple devices have problems in one way or another. I rarely come across such problems.

Well, it's just annoying when you get a brand new product, and You find a problem with it, we all paid a lot for these products hundreds, and even thousands, and I expect to be working perfectly with no flaws, maybe I'm too OCD about things

It's starting to get really annoying now, this device was a one time exception and there something wrong with it again, and the screen brightness.

You're too OCD. You can't expect a perfect product, as it's not a handmade product.

In fact, to me, I won't expect anything perfect from something that costs below USD 5000. Above that, I'd expect it to be as close to perfect as possible (like Swiss watches, for instance). Hundreds is nothing, and neither is something in the low thousands either. If you think something at this price is pricey, you haven't seen much.

Screen display misaligned?

lol, that would be a good excuse for any faulty parts...

because the phone is month old, it cant be anything else than a customers fault?

But my phone is always in the case, I just took it out of the case to clean the entire phone, and noticed it.

I've never dropped it
