Screen fade.

Hello, I was wondering why the second gen iPod Touches fade on when you unlock them and iPhones do not. Is this a hardware limitation? Just an observation.

My screen fades before the auto-lock.

what do you mean by fade? mine doesnt do that at all

go to
Settings
then
Brightness
then
turn Auto-Brightness Off

Then see if it still does the same 🙂

No he means fade like when you push the sleep/wake button, the screen slowly and elegantly turns on or off. Whereas with the iPhone, the screen simply turns off/on without the coolness.
