Coming from a Samsung 9+ to a 12 PM, I can’t get over the fact the green feels more like plastic. When I tap on it ...it feels very hollow and like nothing that would shatter. When I tap on my 9+ it has more of a glass feel to it. Am I wrong here?

I will also mention if feels less responsive when I tap on it.....clicking on a thumbs up in a forum for instance

You’re Using the most premium, best hardware on a phone, best phone by a country mile, has no completion, king of the jungle when it comes to phones, I’ve got a 12 pro max myself (no screen protector) and the screen doesn’t feel like plastic, it feels bloody awesome.

I‘d love to know how can glass feel like plastic. 🤔

Smart move by the way jumping over to the walled garden welcome aboard. 😊

I can definitely understand the plastic-y feel to the screen. I’ve got a 12Pro and it does feel more like plastic than glass.

Glass doesn't feel like plastic although many people over the years have mentioned the hollow sound of some of their screens.

I have found the screen to be very sensitive and responsive. If you have had trouble with using the thumbs up action on the forum, that is the forum software and not your phone.

100% agree with you. It's the first thing I noticed when moving from Samsungs, the screen is very 'noisy' when tapping, a hallow noise, same with the Mrs iPhone 11. Even cheap androids like my son's Honor 10 feels very solid when tapping the screen. A glass screen protector makes it ever so slightly better.
