Screen flashing on and off

Hi
My ATV4 was all fine until today.
The screen is flashing between full Norman screen and a dark screen. The white light stays on constant.
It changes about every 5 seconds. I have not changed anything. I have also unplugged everything several times, but this has not resolved the issue

This happens when you plug the ATV directly to the display?

Tried different HDMI cables?

Using same HDMI cable as always from RS. Not tried directly yet, it is via the sound bar as it’s always been. I have rebooted everything

I would try the direct connection method first.

I have seen this happen with defective cables.

Really weird though

Well it appears it was a cable failure.
Swapped over able and all good. Swapped it back and back came the problem. So that’s gone in the bin. In all the years never known a cable to suddenly go and not a cheap one at that I recall.
