Screen Flicker / Flash on left down swipe

Here is what I’m seeing and if anyone else has experienced this, please confirm:

While on home screen using left downward swipe to reach lock screen:
Screen will flicker / flash showing underlying home screen wallpaper.

Please note: my home screen and lock screen have different wallpaper(s).
It is happening 1 out of every 10 times.
