Does anyone else's screen go crazy after a respiring? I see a jumbled mess of what was sometimes on the screen before I resprang. It started happening after jailbreaking it, it doesn't effect anything, it only shows up for a second right before the Lockscreen comes back up after a respring:

yup me too.

Mine does this as well but has never hung permanently. Only a couple of seconds at the most before my LS shows up. I figured it was just the LS loading so I never thought twice about it.

I have never had mine permanently hang on me, just the screwy screen more a moment.

This only happens in sbsettings when i repsring thro the drop down menu.

All others ways it takes seconds.

Not a biggie I just don't use that way now.

Yeah I had the same issue on 4.2.1 and now on 5.0.1.

Completely avoid using SBSettings respring now and just use Winterboard or Springtomizes one.

If memory serves correctly, I think it may have to do with the way springboard caches. It's not a permanent respring but it can take quite some time to eventually go back to lockscreen.

I'm surprised the issue hasn't been patched, seems to affect a fair number of people.

+1 here as well, but it has never hung on me. It's actually funny to me now, because I am always curious to see what kind of random stuff will show up the next time haha.

I saw it too every time i resprung (?) with a Winterboard lock screen theme. Or maybe just with Winterboard installed. It went away when I restored the phone and did not reinstall Winterboard.

What do you do to get themes ?

Im not liking the way you can go more in-depth and start changing files !

happens to me too.
i don't really mind it much.

i kinda like, a little crazy.

Good to see this and know that it's not just me. I'll try to respring outside of SBSettings next time and see what happens.

This issue causes me to avoid theming lockscreen the HTML way. I managed skinning the time in a flip clock style without making use of a Winterboard widget. It required some tweaks to make it way different from stock :)

Happens to me all the time, but turning the screen off and on removes the glitch and all is well.

I've encountered the same thing, but never knew why. I just went about my business and didn't see any issues with the phone. I'm glad I found this thread to let me know I'm not the only one.

Yeah, I just ignored it, but then started wondering if I was the only one. So I had to ask, and I'm certainly not alone:D.
