Screen going blank/fuzzy when filiming in camera app

Pretty often when taking photos or filing (set to 4k 60) my camera screen will go blank/blurry. Once I finish the video, the final video comes out fine, but of course not being able to see what I'm filming on the display is a an issue.

Anyone else had this problem? this is with an iPhone X.
